WE TRANSFER TUBE PLANTS FROM THE HOUSE TO THE GARDEN
With the advent of steady heat, it's time to take tub plants outside, where in the fresh air and in good lighting they will gain strength and survive the upcoming winter without loss. Just accustom them to the sun and wind gradually.
TEMPERATURE IS IMPORTANT
Instances that spent the winter at + 10-15 degrees, send to fresh air when at least + 8-10 degrees is set outside the window.
If the wintering temperature was above +18 degrees, do not expose the plants before June.
HOUSEWARMING
Transfer long-lived tub plants (oleander, brugmansia, lantana), which have not been transplanted for a long time, into a container 2-5 cm larger than before. In the new "housing" green pets will take a good start and by the beginning of summer they will delight with luxurious flowering, healthy foliage.
Transplantation is especially relevant for the strongly growing Paraguayan nightshade, cestrums (graceful, Parks), in which, in a few months, the roots tightly braid an earthen ball. After that, fertilizers and water are distributed unevenly and the development of plants is disturbed.
For large specimens growing without a transplant, replace the top layer of soil with a fresh one.
FOR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
In order for tub crops (myrtle, citrus - fowl, etc.) to branch well, remove the ends of the shoots with a clean pruner or pinch them off with your fingertips, capturing 1-2 pairs of leaves. Repeat the procedure several times with an interval of 2-3 weeks.
During the active growing season, feed the plants with complex or special water-soluble mixtures every 10 days (according to instructions). Alternatively, apply a slow-release fertilizer to the surface layers of the soil so that a small amount of nutrition is supplied with each watering.
PREVENTION
Place containers on stands or masonry (tiles) to prevent earthworms from entering the flowerpot and infecting the roots with a nematode.
To protect against pest attacks, treat the plants with a systemic insecticidal preparation (Aktara, Mospilan, Confidor, etc.) and periodically repeat the procedure for prevention.

CARE OF TUBE PLANTS - ADVICE AND FEEDBACK
TOWER PLANTS FROM WEATHER SUFFER FIRST
Hot days are abruptly replaced by cold nights, and dry weather - prolonged rains? The most vulnerable in this situation are tub, container plants standing on the street. Let's keep them together.
WHO IS COLD...
Each species has a critical content temperature. If the thermometer falls below this mark, the plant may die. Many representatives of the subtropics (oleander, washingtonia, Canarian date, etc.) in nature are able to withstand small negative temperatures, but in containers their roots suffer from the cold. Tropical species die already at low positive rates. For example, hibiscus wilts when an earthen clod cools to +10 degrees. In bougainvilleas, a cold snap causes leaf fall.
... AND WHO IS HOT
Most plants do not tolerate heat well (except for those that grow in nature at high temperatures) - at + 30 degrees, and above, growth stops, buds fall off. On hot days:
- pay special attention to timely watering:
- try to increase the humidity of the air;
- provide protection from the midday sun;
- transfer small containers to the shade.
FOR LONG RAIN
Potted crops are susceptible to excess moisture, so you need to help them survive bad weather. How to do it? Biologist, collector Nadezhda ROGOVA (Chelyabinsk) will tell you.
Drainage
Provide a good (at least 3 cm) drainage layer at the bottom of the container: from expanded clay, pottery shards, broken bricks, pieces of foam, etc. Add baking powder (perlite, vermiculite, coarse sand) to the planting substrate so that the mixture is water- and breathable. There must be holes in the bottom of the flowerpot, and install the pot so that they are always free, for example, on concrete masonry.
Regular soil cover
Helps to evaporate moisture more actively, increases air flow to the roots. Just act - loosening the soil those carefully, especially if the root system is close to the surface
Shelter
Remove small containers during prolonged rains under a canopy, in a gazebo, on a veranda. Above the overall tubs, you can install a hut structure and throw a film
Helper drugs
"Zircon", "Elin", succinic acid improve immunity, metabolic processes, help assistants to resist stress. Nutritional supplements with trace elements, hormones, amino acids, for example, Isabion, Amino Speedfol, Megafol, act as energy stimulants. "Fitosporin-M" will prevent the appearance of fungal and bacterial infections. From snails and tears, which are especially active in rainy weather, you can buy "Stop-lit", "Patrol", "Slug-eater", "Thunderstorm-3", "Predator", etc.
