FLOWER'S FIRST AID KIT FOR SPRAYING/FLOWER PROCESSING
In the last article, biologist, landscape designer Olga KRASULINA from Perm shared her knowledge and experience in applying some methods of natural farming. This time, the specialist will tell you what safe preparations can be used on the site for the prevention and treatment of various diseases, to prevent the invasion of pests and fight them.
To protect the garden, I carry out preventive treatments with biological products every 10-14 days.
They also help well in the initial stages of plant damage.
WE TREAT FLOWER DISEASES
For the prevention and successful treatment of various plant diseases, biofungicides (from fungi) and bactericides (from bacterial) are used.
DESTROY FLOWER PESTS
In addition to harmful ones, beneficial insects also live in the garden, which can die when certain chemicals are used, especially if they belong to the 1st or 2nd hazard class.
To protect the garden from pests, I prepare infusions of odorous repellant herbs (chamomile, dandelion, marigolds, etc.) and attract entomophagous insects (natural enemies of pests). I also use bioinsecticides.
DRUGS | DESCRIPTION | PURPOSE: |
Fitop Flora-S, Fitosporin-M, Sporobacterin, Alirin-B, Gamair, Baktofit, Fito-Help, Vitaplan, SP | Based on strains of hay bacillus, a unique bacterium that suppresses many pathogenic microorganisms in the soil. It is able to penetrate inside the plant, as a result of which amino acids and vitamins are synthesized, which are useful for the flower. For prevention, it is recommended to use different drugs, because they contain different strains of this bacterium. | They are used to prepare seeds and bulbs for planting, to disinfect the soil, greenhouses and vegetable pits, to prevent diseases (solutions can be watered and sprayed) |
Trichoderma Veride, Trichocin, SP, Gliocladin, Gribofit, Orgamica F | Based on Trichoderma, a beneficial soil fungus found in organic-rich soil. It processes plant residues, parasitizes on pathogenic fungi, improves soil structure | Preparations based on trichoderma are applied to the zone of the root system. It is important that there is enough organic matter in the soil, and the soil is mulched. |
Fitolavin | The active ingredient is phytobacteriomycin, a complex of streptothricin antibiotics isolated from soil bacteria. | Used to combat a wide range of bacterial and fungal diseases (moniliosis, bacterial burn, rot, spotting, etc.) |
"Fitoplasmin" | A systemic preparation for the protection of crops from bacterial and phytoplasmic diseases | With various kinds of rot, spotting, burns, wilting, etc. |

HURT REMINDERS WITH A PICTURE
Reference by topic: Fungal and viral diseases of flowers - how to fight? Measures and means
All biological products are used according to the instructions. Most of them operate at a temperature of + 15 degrees. They should be used in the evening, in calm, dry weather. Additionally, you can add the bioadhesive "Liposam" (but not during flowering!).
