Natural fertilizers: prepare and apply correctly
Liquid fertilizers are used as top dressings as fast-acting and quickly digestible in cases where they want to achieve fast and powerful plant growth. These nutrient solutions contain mainly nitrogen and potassium. Liquid fertilizers can be used for watering under the root, and for spraying on the leaves.
But only in the first half of summer.
FOLIC FERTILIZATION WITH NATURAL FERTILIZERS
Foliar top dressing allows you to quickly make up for the lack of nitrogen or potassium in plants.
They work faster than fertilizers applied to the soil.
In very dense plantings, foliar spraying is often the only way to fertilize the plants.
IMPORTANT!
This is done every 2-3 weeks, reducing the concentration of the solution by half from the usual, which is watered under the root.
NETTLE INfusion FOR FLOWERS
Nettle is a storehouse of trace elements, fertilizer from it is very effective in the fight against pathogens and pests. For its preparation, fresh nettles, collected before the formation of seeds, are suitable. You can also use dried.
Finely chopped grass is placed in a non-metallic container, poured with water (rain or settled, heated in the sun), filling 2/3, and covered with a net. Stir at least once a day. An unpleasant smell can be reduced by throwing a handful of dust into the infusion or by adding a little valerian extract. When the infusion darkens and stops foaming, the fertilizer is ready (after 1-1 weeks). In the sun, the fermentation process is accelerated. After that, the container is closed with a lid with holes for air access.
Application
You can water under the root without filtering. Dilute as follows: 1 part of the infusion to 9 parts of water. For spraying on the leaves filter. Dilute: 1 part of infusion to 19 parts of water. Do this before use. To enhance the effect, you can add a handful of sifted wood ash for every 10 liters of infusion.
Nettle in infusions can be mixed with comfrey, tansy, shepherd's purse, chamomile, snapdragon, horsetail.
To enrich liquid fertilizer, small amounts of aromatic herbs, onion peel, garlic, bird droppings, bone and blood meal, wood ash can be added to the mixture.

EXTRACT FROM COMPOST OR MANURE WITH YOUR HANDS
A few scoops of manure or compost are placed in a hemp or jute bag. A few tablespoons (a strict ratio is not fundamental) of superphosphate, wood ash, chopped alfalfa or lupine, blood and bone meal are also added there. The bag is tied and immersed in a container of water. The liquid is agitated every two days to allow water to enter the bag and carry the nutrients out of it. After 1-2 weeks, the extract is a dark brown liquid ready for use. It does not burn the leaves, so it can be used even without dilution.
WITH NITROGEN DEFICIENCY
Nettle, clover, quinoa, bean tops (peas, beans, beans, lupins), mustard, oil radish, amaranth, wood lice, various types of lettuce and other plants with a superficial root system are suitable for preparing the infusion. They are crushed, a barrel (240 l) is filled up to half, a liter jar of wood ash is added, a couple of handfuls of bread crumbs or mixed fodder, half a liter of candied jam, 100 ml of any microbiological agent (for example, Baikal EM1) are poured with water, put on a sunny place and cover with a film, in which several holes are necessarily pierced with a nail. Stir once a day. The infusion is ready for use in 7-10 days. For watering and top dressing, filter and dilute with water 1: 2. Ready signal: stop gassing.
WITH A LACK OF PHOSPHORUS, POTASSIUM, MICROELEMENTS
They grind grass and roots of dandelion, comfrey, sweet clover, goutweed, horse sorrel, thistle. Preparation and use is the same as nettle infusion.
