HOW AND WHAT TO FERTILIZE GRAPES

Feeding grapes during flowering and fruiting is very important. In total, during the warm period, you need to fertilize three or four times, and then the crop can really be doubled.
FERTILIZING GRAPES FOR BEGINNER GROWERS
The first dressing of grapes must be done before flowering. You can add mullein or bird droppings. The first is diluted ten times, the second - twice as much. Apply a bucket for every square meter. You can use nitroammophoska, diluted in water, 50 g for each bush, you can use 10 g of boric acid.
A couple of weeks after flowering should be carried out second dressing (10 g of potassium sulfate and 15 g of ammonium nitrate under a bush, also pre-dissolved in water).
The third top dressing should be done a couple of weeks before harvesting. (20 g of superphosphate and the same amount of potassium sulfate for each bush, dissolved in water).
The grapes respond very well to leaf feeding, that is, spraying.
The first time this should be done a week before flowering (5 g of boric acid, the same amount of zinc sulfate). Sometimes fertilization in this way is combined with fungicide treatments.
The second time the grapes are sprayed with fertilizers a week after the end of flowering (500 g of wood ash per 10 liters of water). After two weeks, you can again process the ash in the same amount.
Well, a week before harvesting, it is advisable to carry out the final spraying with fertilizers (superphosphate and potassium sulfate - 10 g for each plant).
It is not worth increasing the indicated doses of fertilizers, but if you notice a clear deficiency of one or another element, then this will need to be done.
For example, you can double the dose of superphosphate if the lower leaves on the shoots turn red. Add nitrogen if the foliage has become pale, potassium - if you notice a marginal burn on the leaves, but if chlorosis has begun, then you need to add fertilizer with an iron content.
