Strawberries: how to protect from frost
Before frost, I remove all the strawberry tendrils and weed the area.
    I add potassium and phosphorus fertilizers (15-20 g per 1 sq.m.).
I dig the row spacing to a depth of 12-15 cm.
Before the onset of stable frosts, I cover the plantings with spruce litter and spruce branches. As a result, in winter the plant roots are protected from freezing. There are no pests in spring and summer. In addition, the berries do not touch the soil, so the likelihood of rot development is reduced significantly.
