Last year I planted cherry, pear and Chinese apple trees. The distance between the seedlings is 3 m. The neighbor says: you can’t plant stone fruits and pome fruits next to each other, that there can be some problems. Is the neighbor right? Can stone fruits affect pome fruits? What should be the ideal distance between these trees?

Dear Iraida Stepanovna! Your neighbor has read a lot of stupid bloggers. In my garden I alternate dozens of trees and fruit bushes with wild plants mixed in. And under them I plant hundreds of wild herbs and clearings of garden flowers. Biodiversity improves plant immunity, so I have no outbreaks of diseases or pests, there are a lot of different insects and birds that protect my apple trees all year round..
